PURPOSE
- To require building placement that supports and reinforces the development pattern of each District.
APPLICABILITY
- Setback standards apply to buildings, accessory buildings, additional structures, and components.
GENERAL
- Primary building setbacks are provided in Article 2 Districts.
- Accessory building setbacks are provided in Accessory Building Types.
- Standards related to setbacks for components are specified in Article 3 Components.
- All primary buildings must be located within required front, side, and rear setback ranges unless a specific exception is provided in the district standards or building group standards.
- Deviations to setbacks, including building articulation and encroachments are specified in Article 3 Building Standards.
- Where a lot has more than one side, front, or rear lot line, the setback must be observed in each instance.
- The Corner Lot front setback shall be measured from the primary thoroughfare and the secondary setback is measured from the secondary thoroughfare.
- Where two side lot lines meet at a point, rear setback standards apply from that point.
