GENERAL STANDARDS

  1. All lots must comply with an allowed lot type, as described in this Code.
  2. In order to meet the standards of this Code, a lot may be divided into legal lots, or divided into virtual lots using virtual lot lines, such as when part of a building group.
  3. All buildings must be located on a lot bound by front, side, and/or rear lot lines or by virtual lot lines that meet the standards of this Section.
  4. All newly established lots must have frontage on a thoroughfare, civic space. Driveways do not count as a thoroughfare and cannot be used to satisfy this provision.
  5. The width of a newly established lot must meet the dimensional standards of the District where the lot is located.
  6. A lot may contain no more than one primary building and one accessory building, except when part of a building group, or otherwise noted.
  7. Land may be platted to create new lots, including corner lots, interior lots, through lots, or waterfront lots.
